The Anthony Shaw Collection is delighted to announce its new exhibition - 'POET‘S CHOICE', a selection made from its holdings by the distinguished poet CHRISTOPHER REID.
Reid, who was Poetry Editor at Faber & Faber from 1991 to 1999, has published seven collections of poetry and has been the recipient of several major literary awards, including the Hawthornden Prize and the Cholmondelely Award.
He was given the Signal Award for his first book of poems for children in 2000. Currently editing the letters of Ted Hughes, Reid has also written extensively on the crafts and this exhibition features the work of artists - such
as Ewen Henderson and Bryan Illsley - he has long championed. Also included are ceramics by amongst others, Sidney Tustin, Sara Radstone, Gordon Baldwin, David Garland and Jim Malone.
